We got excellent value for our money at O Sardinhas. The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The location was great, with a vibrant neighborhood, a market with delicious food nearby, and easy access to the metro. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, addressing any issues that arose promptly and with no hassle. We will definitely be returning!
The breakfast experience could be improved with a better coffee selection.

I had a pleasant stay at O Sardinhas for 2 nights. the hotel's location was ideal for exploring the surrounding area, with plenty of fish restaurants in the harbor nearby. I enjoyed the cozy room, especially with the heater during my stay. the rate of $22 was very reasonable. the hotel is conveniently located, just a 10-15 minute walk from Parque Basilio Teles.

The triple room at O Sardinhas was super cozy and had a private bathroom - no sharing! The beds were comfy, and I loved the cute sardine-themed names for the rooms. It made me feel like I was truly experiencing the local culture. As a laid-back traveler, I couldn't ask for a better room to relax and unwind.
For me, the only downside was that the other bedrooms had shared bathrooms. But hey, that's just my personal preference.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The space is incredibly calm and cozy, and it's super close to a Metro station. Not to mention, it's conveniently located near the beach and the Mercado. I was worried about noise from the metro trains, but they actually run very quietly. Sofia and Paulo were so friendly and helpful, always checking in to make sure I was having a fantastic stay. I couldn't have been happier! Plus, the location is top-notch with lots of great breakfast and fish restaurants nearby. The nearby beach provides the perfect weather for relaxing and sightseeing. The metro journey was a breeze, making it easy to explore the city. The facilities were clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. The staff provided free tea and instant coffee, which was a nice touch. They even have Wi-Fi, luggage storage, and a leisure/TV room. The VIP check-in and check-out process was seamless. It's great that they have air conditioning and a strict no smoking policy. All in all, this place exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to come back again!

Great location, just a short walk from the metro station and a few minutes away from the beach. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The staff was really friendly and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the free tea and instant coffee provided in the room, a nice little touch for a cozy stay.
The shower cubicles in the bathroom could use a bit of sprucing up, as they looked a bit tired. the walls were not very thick, so noise from other guests coming and going could be heard.

The fact that it's close to the Metro station is mind-blowing, super convenient for exploring the city. And don't get me started on the beach, it's like a piece of paradise right on your doorstep. The nearby Mercado is a total game-changer for foodies like me. And let's talk about the staff, Sofia and Paulo are like superheroes, always there to make sure you're having the best time ever. Thank you so much, I couldn't have been happier with my stay! Plus, the facilities are top-notch, with free wi-fi, a cool leisure/ TV room. And let's not forget about the air conditioning, perfect for those hot summer days. Oh, and did I mention the place is spotlessly clean? Amazing! Just one more thing, no pets allowed and no smoking on site, which is great for non-smokers like me. Can't wait to come back!

The triple room at O Sardinhas is cozy and comfortable. The private bathroom is a big plus. I really liked the traditional sardine dish names for the rooms, it's a fun touch! As a solo traveler, I felt right at home here.
The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was having to share the communal bathroom facilities with others. But that's just my personal preference, some people might not mind it at all.
